Welcome! FOR THE FUTURE VIRTUAL CANDIDATES FORUM - WEST PLANO and CENTRAL/EAST PLANO, N. RICHARDSON and ALLEN is part of a series of statewide public education virtual candidate events that Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation will be hosting across the state prior to the 2020 General Election on November 3.  This Forum will be for House Districts 66 and 67.  The candidates for these races are: 

Texas House District 66 

Sharon Hirsch (Democrat)
Shawn Jones (Libertarian)
Matt Shaheen (Republican)-Incumbent

Texas House District 67 

Jeff Leach (Republican)-Incumbent
Lorenzo Sanchez (Democrat)

Like all For the Future events, this will be an issue-focused conversation including questions on statewide and local topics with regard to education. All candidates for HD 66 and 67 are invited to participate, and Raise Your Hand Texas will not endorse candidates.  

In addition to the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation, this event is brought to you by Plano ISD Council of PTAs and Allen ISD Council of PTAs, and League of Women Voters. League of Women Voters-Collin County will serve as the Forum Moderator.
