Welcome! The For the Future Texas Senate District 12 Candidate Forum is part of a series of nonpartisan education candidate events that Raise Your Hand Texas will be hosting across the state through the 2022 elections.

Raise Your Hand Texas is partnering with North Texas Commission, Lewisville Chamber of Commerce, and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Council of PTAs to offer this forum.

The candidates for this race are: 

Francine Ly (Democrat)
Ferdi Mongo (Democrat)
Tan Parker (Republican)
Chris Russell (Republican)

The Honorable Karen Hunt (former Mayor of Coppell) will serve as the forum moderator.

Like all For the Future events, this will be an issue-focused conversation including questions on statewide and local topics. All candidates for Senate District 12   are invited to participate, and Raise Your Hand Texas will not endorse candidates. Inclusion in this list of candidates does not necessarily denote confirmation of attendance.
