Charles Butt Scholar Mentors Needed
Raise Your Hand Texas invites you to sign up to mentor a Charles Butt Scholar! This is a powerful opportunity to give back to the teaching profession and get connected with future teacher leaders across Texas. As a mentor, you will help an emerging educator develop the skills and tools to be the best educator they can be. All Raise Your Hand Texas alumni are strongly encouraged to sign up. While we recognize this school year has been challenging, current mentors report participation in the program is a fulfilling experience that keeps them hopeful through difficult times.

Advocacy and Outreach
If you haven’t already done so, please consider signing up for Raise Your Hand Texas' text message advocacy actions alerts.
Signing up for our action alerts will allow us to get in touch via text with you at key moments during the year, and within the next legislative session. It makes it easy for you to email your designated state elected officials about important legislative decisions impacting public education in less than 90 seconds. Legislators listen to their constituents more than any advocacy group, so we need your help to make good things happen for public education.
