2022 Leadership Symposium
February 16 - 18, 2022
Sheraton Dallas Hotel
Leading schools through a third pandemic school year and a hostile political climate may very well be the greatest challenge of your careers. This moment requires grace and courage as you advocate for your students, teachers, and the profession. Together, Raise Your Hand Texas and the alumni network remain united in a common purpose to ensure all 5.5 million Texas students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Reunite with us for three days of connection and learning grounded in this shared purpose.
To confirm your attendance for this event, you must submit this form before 5:00 pm CST, Friday, January 14, 2022. Hotel rooms, as well as space in some of the workshops, are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Symposium will begin at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, and it will end at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 18.
If you can no longer attend the symposium for any reason, you need to cancel your hotel reservation by contacting the Sheraton Dallas Hotel by Friday, January 14, 2022 to avoid being charged, AND send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Symposium Cancellation.
DO NOT FORWARD THIS FORM. Anyone who uses it will overwrite your information and take your spot at this and future events.
Raise Your Hand Texas will provide two complimentary nights of hotel accommodations (Wednesday, February 16 and Thursday, February 17) to a limited number of attendees who live outside the Dallas area. If you live within 15 miles of the symposium location, we respectfully ask that you leave the hotel rooms open for alumni traveling from out of town.
Your credit card will ONLY be charged for any optional services you request or if you fail to cancel by the registration deadline. See terms & conditions below for details.
Charles Butt Scholar Mentors Needed
Raise Your Hand Texas invites you to sign up to mentor a Charles Butt Scholar! This is a powerful opportunity to give back to the teaching profession and get connected with future teacher leaders across Texas. As a mentor, you will help an emerging educator develop the skills and tools to be the best educator they can be. All Raise Your Hand Texas alumni are strongly encouraged to sign up. While we recognize this school year has been challenging, current mentors report participation in the program is a fulfilling experience that keeps them hopeful through difficult times.SIGN UP HERE

Advocacy and Outreach
If you haven’t already done so, please consider signing up for Raise Your Hand Texas' text message advocacy actions alerts.
Signing up for our action alerts will allow us to get in touch via text with you at key moments during the year, and within the next legislative session. It makes it easy for you to email your designated state elected officials about important legislative decisions impacting public education in less than 90 seconds. Legislators listen to their constituents more than any advocacy group, so we need your help to make good things happen for public education.JOIN US
