For The Future Forum - Lubbock is part of a series of over 40 public education candidate events that the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation will be hosting across the state prior to the 2020 primary election on March 3. This forum will be for House District 83. The candidates for this race are Dr. James B Barrick (D), Representative Dustin Burrows (R) and Addison Perry-Franks (D). Inclusion in this list of candidates does not necessarily denote confirmation of attendance.
Like all For the Future events, this will be an issue-focused conversation including questions on statewide and local topics. All candidates for HD 83 are invited to participate, and the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation will not endorse candidates.
